Aalaa Hazrat (رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہ)

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ وَ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَامُ علٰی سَیِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ ط

اَمَّا بَعْدُ فَاَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْمِ ط  بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّ حِیْم ط

تذکرہ امام احمد رضا رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہ

اے رضا مرتبہ کتنا ہوا بالا تیرا

ہند تو ہند عرب میں ہواشہرا تیرا

 اور ایک مقام پر فرماتے ہیں۔

Happy Birth : 

 The Most High, the Blessed One,  Ahmad Raza Khan (رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) was born on Saturday, June 14, 1856, at noon in the Jasoli mahalla of Bareilly Sharif.  According to the year of birth, your name is Al-Mukhtar (5 AH). 

The Year Of Birth Of His Highness :

Aalaa Hazrat رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  , has extracted his year of birth from verse no. 22 of Surah Al-Mujadilah.  According to the knowledge of this verse, there are 1272 numbers and this is the year of your birth according to the Hijri year.

Aalaa Hazrat (رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) said: Praise be to God, the date of my birth is in this verse:

 The first book in their hearts is faith and their faith is the spirit of it.

 Translation: These are the ones in whose hearts Allah has imprinted faith and helped them with His spirit.

 Your name is Mubarak Muhammad and your grandfather called him Ahmad Raza and became famous by that name.

Amazing Childhood :

In general, the condition of children of all ages is the same as that of children nowadays. For seven or eight years, they do not feel anything and they do not reach the level of anything, but the childhood of Hazrat Rahmatullah Alayh is great.  He was of great importance. He was a Sunni, a child (ie, a child) and at a young age he was a sign of consciousness and strength of memory.  In the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, he appeared on the pulpit and delivered a very eloquent speech on the subject of the birth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a very large gathering.  At the same age, he learned the direction of Baghdad Sharif and then did not set foot in the blessed life of the blessed life of Ghaus-e-Azam  (رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) (ie the blessed city of Ghaus-e-Azam).  He used to be attached to the prayers to the extent of love, so he used to go to the mosque and perform the five-song prayer in congregation, remembering the Takbir-e-Awli.  Al-Tahiyya wa Al-Thana 'was dominating him, expressing which he greets the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the service of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as follows:

 Durood on the shame and humiliation of the lower eyes

 Millions of greetings on the height of high vision

 Hazrat ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ   ) had adopted piety in his boyhood to such an extent that even the sound of footsteps could not be heard while walking.  He was seven years old when he started fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.  (Preface Fataawa Rizviyah vol. 1 p. 2)

A Childhood Story :

Sayyid Ayub Ali Shah Sahib ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) says that in his childhood he used to come to the house of a Maulvi Sahib (رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  ) to recite the Holy Quran.  It is mentioned one day that Maulvi Sahib used to say a word to him in a verse, but he did not come out of the blessed tongue of the Most Merciful.  This was the situation when he saw Hazrat Maulana Raza Ali Khan, the grandfather of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), called the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to him and asked him to recite the Holy Qur'an.  It was given, that is, what came out of the tongue of the Most High, Hazrat رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  , was correct.  He ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) 's grandfather asked, "Son, why did you not recite in the same way as Maulvi Sahib used to teach?"  Asked: I intended but could not control my tongue.

 Hazrat ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ   ) himself used to say that my teacher from whom I used to read the first book, when he used to teach me a lesson, he would close the book by looking at it once or twice, when he listened to the lesson he would recite it word for word.  I was very surprised to see this situation. One day he started saying to me that Ahmed Mian!  Say: Are you a man or a jinn?  It takes me a while to teach but it doesn't take long to remember you!  He said, "Thank God, I am only a human being. Yes, the grace and blessings of God Almighty are included."  

The First Fatwa :

Hazrat ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ )  , in the age of ten months and four days, has fulfilled all the conditions of his father, Maulana Naqi Ali Khan.  The first fatwa was written in response to  After receiving the correct fatwa, Majid's father handed him over to Masjid-e-Ifta and continued to write the fatwa till the end.  

His Highness the Mathematician :

Allah Almighty had blessed Hazrat رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  with innumerable sciences of knowledge and glory.  He (may Allah have mercy on him) had great access to every art.  Ilm-i-Tawqit (Ilm-i-Tu-Qi-i-T) was so perfect that one could see the sun by day and the stars by night.  The timing was perfect and there was never a minute's difference.  He was the only employer in mathematics.  Therefore, the Vice Chancellor of Aligarh University, Dr. Zia-ud-Din, who had obtained foreign degrees and medals in mathematics, came to ask a question of mathematics in the service of Allah (swt).  He said: It is not a problem that I can easily raise.  Hazrat ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) said: Say something.  When the Vice Chancellor Sahib asked a question, His Highness Hazrat Rahmatullah Alayh immediately gave a satisfactory answer.  He said in astonishment that he wanted to go to Germany for this issue. By chance our professor of theology Maulana Syed Sulaiman Ashraf Sahib guided me and I came here.  Looks like you were looking at the same issue in the book.  Dr. Sahib returned with joy and happiness and he was so impressed with the personality of Rahmatullah Alayh that he kept his beard and became observant of fasting and prayers.  Forgive us innumerable times.

Besides, Aalaa Hazrat (رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  ) was also very skilled in the science of taksir, the science of form, the science of Jafar, etc.

Amazing Memory Power :

Hazrat Abu Hamid Syed Muhammad Muhaddith Kachuchhovi (  رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) says that when I was staying in Bareilly Sharif in connection with working in Darul Ifta, such incidents would come to light day and night that people would be surprised by His Highness's response.  The most astonishing fact in these present answers was the scholarly present answer which was never heard of.  For example, Istifta (question) came, those who worked in Dar-ul-Ifta read it and it turned out that a new type of incident was discovered (ie a new type of case has arisen) and the answer was not found in the form of Juziya.  It will be possible to deduce from the general principles of the jurists.  (That is, the problem will have to be solved from the principles stated by the jurists, may God have mercy on them).  What should we do now?  He said: This is a very old question.  Ibn Humam wrote in such and such a page of "Fateh-ul-Qadir", Ibn 'Abidin wrote in such and such a volume of "Rad-ul-Muhtar" and in such and such a page, in "Fatwa-e-Hindiya",  The text is clearly present. Now, if you open the books, there is no difference between a page, a line and a single point in the stated text.  This God-given grace and perfection always amazed the scholars. 

Memorization Of The Qur'an In Just One Month : 

Sayyid Ayub Ali Sahib (  رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  ) has stated that one day Hazrat ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  ) said that some ignorant people write Hafiz in front of my name, although I am not qualified for this title.  Sayyid Ayub Ali Sahib ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) says that Aalaa Hazrat ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  ) started the period from that day, the time of which was probably fixed after performing the ablution of Isha till the establishment of the congregation.  He used to memorize one paragraph daily, even on the thirtieth day he memorized the thirtieth paragraph.

 On one occasion he said that he had memorized the Holy Qur'an without any hesitation and that this was so that the words of the servants of God (who write Hafiz in front of my name) would not be proved wrong. 

عشقِ رسول صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ 

اِنہیں جانا اِنہیں مانا نہ رکھا غیر سے کام

لِلّٰہِ الْحَمْد میں دُنیا سے مسلمان گیا

Aalaa Hazrat ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  ) was a model of peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.  May the mercy of Allah Almighty be upon you, but may the mercy of Allah be upon you.  He ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) never wrote an ode for the flattery of a worldly crown prince, because he ( رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ ) accepted the presence of the crown prince (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).  I had reached the state of perfection

Avoid The Flattery Of The Authorities :

Poets once wrote poems in praise of the Nawab of Nanpara (Bahraich District, UP).  Some people also requested him (may Allah have mercy on him) to write an ode in praise of Nawab Sahib.  He (may Allaah have mercy on him) wrote a Naat in response to which he said:

وہ کمالِ حُسنِ حضور ہے کہ گُمانِ نَقص جہاں نہیں

یِہی پھول خار سے دُور ہے یِہی شَمع ہے کہ دُھواں نہیں

بیداری میں دیدارِ مُصطَفٰے صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ :

میرے آقا اعلیٰ حضرت رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ دوسری بار حج کے لیے حاضِر ہوئے تو مدینۂ منوَّرہ زَادَھَا اللہُ شَرَفاً وَّ تَعْظِیْماً میں نبیِّ رَحمتِ صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ  کی زیارت کی آرزو لیے روضۂـ اَطہر کے سامنے دیر تک صلوٰۃ وسلام پڑھتے رہے، مگر پہلی رات قسمت میں یہ سعادت نہ تھی۔ اِس موقع پر وہ معروف نعتیہ غَزَل لکھی جس کے مَطلَع میں دامنِ رَحمت سے وابَستگی کی اُمّید دکھائی ہے۔   ؎

وہ سُوئے لالہ زار پھرتے ہیں

تیرے دن اے بہار پھرتے ہیں

Some Highlights Of The Biography :

My lord, Hazrat Rahmatullah Alayh, says: If someone breaks my heart into two parts, one will be called La ilaha illa Allah and the other will be written by Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).  (Biography of Imam Ahmad Raza, p. 5, Nooria Rizviyah School, Sukkur)

 The Crown Prince of Ahl-e-Sunnat, His Highness the Grand Mufti of India, Maulana Mustafa Raza Khan says in “Saman-e-Bakhsh”:

 If God is one, then Muhammad is one

 If I tear my heart in two

 In the eyes of the shaykhs of the time, he (may Allah have mercy on him) was truly annihilated in the Messenger.  Most of the time, Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to grieve and sigh coldly.  Seeing the blasphemous expressions of the professionals and arrogant people, tears would flow from their eyes and they would strongly rebuke the arrogant people in support of the beloved Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and say:  ۔  He (may Allah have mercy on him) often used to be proud of the fact that the Almighty has made me a shield for the honor of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in this age.  The way I use it is to rebuke the slanderers harshly and harshly so that they may be busy cursing me.  Lord, for the time when you will refrain from insulting the glory of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

The Style Of Sitting During Milad :

My Highness Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (may Allah have mercy on him) used to stand in the ceremony of Milad-e-Sharif to recite Salat-e-Wislam at the time of Dhikr-e-Wiladat-e-Sharif.  He used to preach like this, he would sit on the pulpit for four or five hours.  (Ibid., P. 2, the life of the Supreme Being, vol. 1, p. 5) I wish!  We, the slaves of the Supreme Being, should also have the pleasure of reciting the Qur'an or listening to it, as well as sitting in the gatherings of remembrance and Naat, gatherings full of traditions, civil talks, teaching and civil circles, etc 

The Unique Style Of Sleeping :

While sleeping, he would place his thumb on the index finger so that the word "Allah" would be formed from the fingers.  He (may Allah have mercy on him) would never sleep with his legs spread, but he would lie down on his right (ie straight) crotch, put both his hands under his head and wrap his blessed feet, thus the word “Muhammad"

Authors :

Aalaa Hazrat رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ   has written more or less a thousand books on various topics.  In this way, you may have given millions of fatwas from 1286 AH to 1340 AH, but alas!  That not all of them could be copied, the ones that were copied were named “Al-Ataa'a Al-Nabawiyyah Fi Al-Fataawa Al-Radhawiyyah”.  There are 30 volumes of Fatwa Rizviyah (Mukhrajah) with a total of 21656 pages, total questions and answers: 6847 and total magazines: 206.  (Fatawa Rizviyah Mokhrajah Vol. 1 p. 2 Raza Foundation Markaz Al-Awliya Lahore)

 The breadth of your vision in the Qur'an and Hadith, jurisprudence, logic and theology, etc., can be gauged from the study of the fatwa of the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful.

Translation Of The Holy Quran :

Aalaa Hazrat رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  translated the Holy Qur'an which is superior to all in the current translations of Urdu.  The name of the translation is "Kanz-ul-Iman" on which the caliph of Hazrat Sadr-ul-Afa'il, Maulana Syed-ud-Din Murad, may God bless him and grant him peace.  Al-Hannan has written a footnote under the name "Noor-ul-Irfan".

Death Of Regret Verses :

Aalaa Hazrat رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ  four months and 22 days before his death, by announcing his own demise, had deduced the year of death from verse 15 of verse 29 of Surah Al-Dahr.  Is the year of death

وہ آیتِ مبارَکہ یہ ہے :

وَ یُطَافُ عَلَیْهِمْ بِاٰنِیَةٍ مِّنْ فِضَّةٍ وَّ اَكْوَابٍ  (پ۲۹، الدہر: ۱۵)

ترجَمۂ کنزالایمان:  اور ان پر چاندی کے برتنوں اور کُوزوں کا دَور ہوگا۔ (سوانحِ امام احمد رضا ص۳۸۴ )

25 صفر المظفَّر۱۳۴۰ھ مطابِق28 اکتوبر 1921ء کو جُمُعَۃُ الْمُبارَک  کے دن ہندوستان کے وَقت کے مطابِق2 بجکر 38 مِنَٹ (اور پاکستانی وقت کے مطابِق 2بجکر8مِنَٹ)  پر ، عَین اذانِ جُمعہ کے وَقتاعلٰی حضرت، اِمامِ اَھلسنّت ، ولیِ نِعمت، عظیمُ البَرَکت، عظیمُ المَرْتَبت، پروانۂ شمعِ رِسالت، مُجَدِّدِ دین و مِلَّت، حامیِ سُنّت، ماحِیِ بِدعت، عالِمِ شَرِیْعَت، پیرِ طریقت، باعثِ خَیْرو بَرَکت، حضرتِ علّامہ مولانا الحاج الحافظ القاریشاہ امام اَحمد رضا خان عَلَیْہِ رَحْمَۃُ الرحمٰن نے داعیٔ اَجل کو لبیّک کہا۔ اِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَ اِنَّاۤ اِلَیْهِ رٰجِعُوْنَؕ (۱۵۶) آپ رَحْمَۃُاللہِ تعالٰی علیہ کا مزار پُرانوارمدینۃ المرشد بریلی شریف میں آج بھی زیارت گاہِ خاص وعام ہے اللہ  عَزَّوَجَلَّ کی اُن پر رَحمت ہو اور ان کے صَدقے ہماری بے حساب مغفِرت ہو۔اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ النَّبِیِّ الْاَمِیْن صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم

تُم کیا گئے کہ رونقِ محفِل چلی گئی
شِعر و ادب کی زُلف پریشاں ہے آج بھی
