'New Zealand cancels visit to Pakistan on report of five-nation intelligence alliance'

Regarding the cancellation of the visit to Pakistan by New Zealand, it has been claimed that the Kiwis canceled the visit to Pakistan on the information of the alliance of intelligence agencies.

According to the New Zealand Herald news agency, New Zealand had received information from a coalition of intelligence agencies from five countries that their team could be targeted in Pakistan.

Called Five Eyes, the alliance is made up of intelligence agencies from New Zealand, Canada, Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom, and the threat was finally confirmed before the match, which was followed by contacts between top Pakistani and New Zealand officials.

In this regard, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan had also tried to contact his Kiwi counterpart Jacinda Ardern, but despite assurances of security to the Prime Minister of New Zealand, New Zealand decided not to continue the visit.

Within 12 hours of all these contacts, the tour was announced to be canceled.

The New Zealand government is fully supporting the decision of its cricket board, despite strong criticism from the cricket community, including Pakistan, for canceling the series at the last minute from Pakistan for security reasons.

New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister Brant Robertson did not confirm that the visit was canceled because of the threat, but said that the threat had been reported from a highly credible source and that immediate action was needed.  Was

"In such a situation, it is not possible for you to know the details of the attack, so it needed to be taken seriously on an immediate basis," he said.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that we fully support the decision taken by New Zealand Cricket. He made this decision after a security analysis.  What

"We are grateful to Pakistan for keeping the team safe and acknowledge how disappointing this decision is for cricket circles in Pakistan but the safety of the players is paramount," he said.

A senior New Zealand official claimed that Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern had spoken to Imran Khan about the threat of an attack on the team's arrival at the stadium for the first ODI, the report said.

It should be noted that the New Zealand team came to Pakistan to play ODI and T20 series after a long gap of 18 years.

The New Zealand team was to play a series of three ODIs and five T20 matches in the tour.

On arrival in Pakistan, the visiting team was provided foolproof security and the 15-member squad trained three times in the stadium.

The first ODI between the two teams was scheduled for Friday but a few hours before the start of the match, New Zealand canceled the tour of Pakistan due to security concerns.

Following the cancellation of the tour, the New Zealand players were instructed to stay in hotel rooms and the Kiwis returned home.

Press Conference Fedral Interior Minister

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that despite assurances of security from Prime Minister Imran Khan, New Zealand unilaterally canceled the visit to Pakistan and the visit was terminated under a conspiracy.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that this morning the New Zealand security officials informed our security officials about the cancellation of the tour even though foolproof security arrangements were made for the security of the New Zealand team.  The army, SSG and infantry were present at his security, 4,000 policemen were present.

"We also tried to persuade him to play the match without spectators, but when he did not agree, our country's officials spoke to the prime minister in Tajikistan," he said.

Sheikh Rashid said that at a time when Pakistan is playing a key role in the world, Pakistan is currently the biggest advocate of peace and tranquility in the world and has a cohesive, strong and comprehensive anti-terrorism body.  The visit ended in a conspiracy.

"It's up to them to decide now. Our National Management Crisis Cell and NEP have done a lot of work. They've tried to convince them, but the New Zealand government has done it on its own."  Decided to cancel the visit.

In response to a question, he said that it is a conspiracy of anyone but I do not think it is appropriate to name, we are a responsible country and we want cricket to be played in this country because there are a large number of cricket fans here and  The Prime Minister himself has won the World Cup, but gloved hands have conspired to undermine our efforts for peace in the region and our identity.

Asked about a conspiracy by a superpower to cancel the visit, the Home Minister said, "All our borders are secure. We have made efforts to evacuate people from all countries, including the United States."

The New Zealand cricket team had canceled the tour of Pakistan a few hours before the start of the match due to security concerns, but now the reason for ending the tour has come to light.

According to the World News Agency, a report published in the prestigious Auckland-based newspaper "New Zealand Herald" has revealed that the decision to terminate the Pakistan cricket team on the spot was taken by "Five Eyes".  Was based on intelligence.

The newspaper claimed that the five-nation intelligence alliance, Five Eyes, had issued an alert that there could be an attack on the New Zealand team outside the stadium.  In New Zealand, the "Five Eyes" report is considered credible and reliable.

There are several reasons behind the cancellation of the New Zealand tour

It was never a security issue Pakistan sold JF thunder fighter jets to Argentina last week for 600 million plus! UK has warned Pakistan to not sell it them! Pakistan went ahead sold it anyway now the consequences! The 5 eye security isn’t happy about it! Good old dirty politics!

After New Zealand, England also canceled the tour of Pakistan

The tour of Pakistan was abruptly canceled by the New Zealand cricket team on security grounds and now hopes of hosting England next month have been dashed.  The English Cricket Board also refused to send a team after the tour was abruptly canceled by New Zealand.

A press release issued by the English Cricket Board said that it has been decided not to send men's and women's teams.

A spokesman for the ECB said the decision was being made in view of the mental and physical health of the players.  Thi, it is estimated that the decision will be disappointing, then they are depressed about the impact on cricket.

On the other hand, PCB chairman Rameez Raja tweeted that he was disappointed with the decision of the English Cricket Board and said that he was deeply disappointed with the decision of the England Cricket Board.  We will get out of this difficult situation soon.

Rameez Raja said that this is a signal to wake up the Pakistani team to become the best team in the world of cricket so that all the countries of the world are ready to play cricket from Pakistan without making any excuse.

Pakistan Cricket Board suffers huge financial loss due to cancellation of New Zealand tour

The decision to cancel New Zealand's tour due to security concerns before the start of the three-match ODI series in Rawalpindi will cost the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) millions.

According to the Dawn newspaper, a PCB official told Dawn on condition of anonymity that "apart from the security losses, this is a blow to the efforts of the PCB, the government and the security agencies in Pakistan."  They were trying to restore cricket completely.

After three ODIs between Pakistan and New Zealand, five T20 Internationals were to be played in Lahore.

The official said that raising the issue against New Zealand cricket in the International Cricket Council would not be of any use.

"The ICC has never done anything in these matters. In addition, the Indian lobby is strong in the ICC, which will not make it easy for the PCB to win a compensation case against New Zealand," the official said.  '

It may be recalled that New Zealand was visiting Pakistan for the first time since 2003 and after canceling the tour, the England Cricket Board had also announced that it would make a final decision on its October tour of Pakistan in the next few days.  ۔

England's men's and women's teams are coming to Pakistan next month for a short two-match T20 series.
